Personal devices will no longer be covered by Kaspersky licensing as of February 28, 2017, meaning those devices will no longer be protected. NC State is moving to a new anti-virus solution that does not cover personal devices.
- You should uninstall all copies of the free personal version of Kaspersky acquired through the NC State software licensing site.
- DASA Tech will handle removing Kaspersky from all university owned devices; if you have any questions about this, send them to email@example.com.
- As a replacement for Kaspersky, NC State recommends using either the antivirus protection provided by the operating system vendor or an approved alternative.
