DASA Tech has ordered over 300 different devices just since April 1 for all of our DASA departments. (Desktops, laptops, monitors, tablets, phones, printers, card readers, screen filters, adapters, spare chargers, and the list goes on.) We have boxes coming out of our ears, with more arriving every day over the next month. We are working very hard to get all this processed.
Some items have been deployed, but many have not.
If the equipment is for a new position or space, or to replace non-functioning and/or loaner equipment, we will make it a priority to get the new items prepped and deployed as soon as possible.
Equipment that is replacing out-of-warranty devices that are working OK are lower on the list. We ask for your patience as our team works through these many end of year purchases. It may take a couple of months to get everything processed.
We will continue to use our ticketing system to communicate with you about getting these items deployed to your areas. Let us know if you think that we are not aware of a high-priority deployment via email@example.com.
This is the first year EVER that we have met with every single department to work through lifecycle replacement, and that is a huge accomplishment (yay for DASA Tech!). Our goal for next year is to streamline that process so we are placing these orders throughout the year and timed strategically for both your unit and for DASA Tech (rather than so many year-end purchases).
Bottom line – we appreciate your patience as we get your new items deployed, but definitely reach out if you feel there are priorities we are not aware of.
